Setup guide
AT&T Phone (landline / U-verse Voice)
Set up call forwarding on AT&T's home or small-business phone service so the calls your front desk misses go to your Recepta Desk number. For AT&T wireless, see the AT&T (wireless) guide instead.

How do I send the calls I miss to Recepta Desk on AT&T Phone or U-verse Voice?
AT&T Phone and U-verse Voice, the internet-based home and small-business phone service, have separate codes for forwarding on no answer and on busy. Dial them from the phone.
- 1Pick up the handset and listen for a dial tone.
- 2Forward on no answer: dial *92, enter your 10-digit Recepta Desk number, then press #.
- 3Forward on busy: dial *90, enter the same number, then press #.
- 4Listen for the confirmation, then hang up.
- 5Place a test call from another phone, let it ring out, and confirm you get a text back.
Good to know
- You can also set this without codes in the myAT&T phone portal under Phone features, Features, Call Forwarding.
- On an older copper landline, no-answer forwarding is set up by AT&T, and you change the destination by calling them at 1-800-288-2747. The ring count is adjustable from the phone with *47.
- Do not use *72, which forwards every call.
