Setup guide
CenturyLink / Lumen
Set up call forwarding on CenturyLink (Lumen) home or small-business phone so the calls your front desk misses go to your Recepta Desk number.

How do I send the calls I miss to Recepta Desk on CenturyLink?
CenturyLink has separate codes for forwarding on no answer and on busy. They work on CenturyLink digital voice and on landlines that have customer-programmable forwarding. Dial them from the phone.
- 1Pick up the handset and listen for a dial tone.
- 2Forward on no answer: dial *92. If you hear a stutter tone, dial one digit (1 to 9) for how many rings first, then after the next tone dial your 10-digit Recepta Desk number.
- 3Forward on busy: dial *90, then dial the same number.
- 4Hang up after the confirmation tone.
- 5Place a test call from another phone, let it ring out, and confirm you get a text back.
Good to know
- On some older copper landlines, forwarding is set by CenturyLink, not from your phone. If *92 or *90 does nothing, call CenturyLink to set the forward-to number for you.
- Do not use *72, which forwards every call.

How do I stop forwarding calls on CenturyLink?
Each forwarding type has a matching cancel code.
- 1No answer: dial *93.
- 2Busy: dial *91.
- 3Wait for the confirmation tone after each, then hang up.
Good to know
- On a carrier-set landline, call CenturyLink to turn forwarding off.
