How do I send the calls I miss to Recepta Desk on a Verizon phone?
Verizon mobile uses one code for the calls you do not pick up or are busy on. Verizon calls this No Answer / Busy Transfer. The phone rings first, and Verizon hands the call to your Recepta Desk number only when you do not answer or the line is busy.
- 1Open your phone's dialer.
- 2Dial *71 followed by your 10-digit Recepta Desk number, with no spaces (for example *715085551234).
- 3Press call, wait for the tone or confirmation, then hang up.
- 4Place a test call from another phone, let it ring out, and confirm you get a text back.
Good to know
- Verizon mobile does not have separate no-answer and busy codes. *71 covers both.
- You can also turn this on in the My Verizon app under your line's call settings.
- Verizon will not forward to a non-US number, and forwarded calls use your plan minutes.
- No answer triggers after about three or four rings. That timing is not adjustable with the code.

How do I stop forwarding calls on Verizon?
One code cancels the No Answer / Busy Transfer you set with *71.
- 1Open your phone's dialer.
- 2Dial *73 and press call.
- 3Wait for the confirmation, then hang up.
